Cheryl Heller
Cheryl Heller is the Founding Chair of the first MFA program in Design for Social Innovation at SVA, founder of the design lab CommonWise and winner of the prestigious AIGA Medal for her contribution to the field of design. She is a business strategist and communication designer who has founded two companies and taught creativity to leaders and organizations around the world.

This game-based workshop experience introduces a strategic business toolkit that will help entrepreneurs find opportunities for impact. Matt Manos, founder and CEO of the social innovation company, verynice.co, will guide you through a simple four-step process to design disruption business models. The Models of Impact toolkit and certification process are now taking root in 75 countries around the globe.

Join frog design for an interactive workshop as we consider ways to make transportation better in the Bay Area. This is a chance to collaboratively identify transportation challenges and ideas, while also getting first-hand experience in frog’s design thinking process, including participatory design and prototyping.
Making is core to frog’s design process, and the workshop will use making as a theme to explore the ways we could enhance transportation options in the city.
